Tumblr Importer

Im trying to figure out on how to import all my post in Tumblr but I cant find the right program or plugins. Among the programs/plugins that I’ve check, Tumblr Importer was way better among the list that I’ve tried.

Only downside of this Plugins is that Photos are not imported so if you see my Blog right now short post without photos are imported from my Tumblr account and in addition post has no Title so i still need to update my post one by one….

The 99 Club

This story reminds me of where true happiness comes from –

Once upon a time, there lived a King who, despite his luxurious lifestyle, was neither happy nor content. One day, the King came upon a servant who was singing happily while he worked. This fascinated the King; why was he, the Supreme Ruler of the Land, unhappy and gloomy, while a lowly servant had so much joy. The King asked the servant, “Why are you so happy?” The man replied, “Your Majesty, I am nothing but a servant, but my family and I don’t need too much – just a roof over our heads and warm food to fill our tummies.”

The king was not satisfied with that reply. Later in the day, he sought the advice of his most trusted advisor. After hearing the King’s woes and the servant’s story, the advisor said, “Your Majesty, I believe that the servant has not been made part of The 99 Club.” “The 99 Club? And what exactly is that?” the King inquired. The advisor replied, “Your Majesty, to truly know what The 99 Club is, place 99 Gold coins in a bag and leave it at this servant’s doorstep.”
When the servant saw the bag, he took it into his house. When he opened the bag, he let out a great shout of joy… So many gold coins!

He began to count them. After several counts, he was at last convinced that there were 99 coins. He wondered, “What could’ve happened to that last gold coin? Surely, no one would leave 99 coins!” He looked everywhere he could, but that final coin was elusive. Finally, exhausted, he decided that he was going to have to work harder than ever to earn that gold coin and complete his collection. From that day, the servant’s life was changed. He was overworked, horribly grumpy, and castigated his family for not helping him make that 100th gold coin. He stopped singing while he worked.

Witnessing this drastic transformation, the King was puzzled. When he sought his advisor’s help, the advisor said, “Your Majesty, the servant has now officially joined The 99 Club.”
He continued, “The 99 Club is a name given to those people who have enough to be happy but are never content, because they’re always yearning and striving for that extra 1 telling to themselves: “Let me get that one final thing and then I will be happy for life.”

We can be happy, even with very little in our lives, but the minute we’re given something bigger and better, we want even more! We lose our sleep, our happiness, we hurt the people around us; all these as a price for our growing needs and desires. That’s what joining The 99 Club is all about.

Story About Love by Swami Vivekananda

I once had a friend who grew to be very close to me.
Once when we were sitting at the edge of a swimming pool, she filled the palm of her hand with some water and held it before me, and said this: “You see this water carefully contained on my hand? It symbolizes Love.”

This was how I saw it: As long as you keep your hand caringly open and allow it to remain there, it will always be there. However, if you attempt to close your fingers round it and try to posses it, it will spill through the first cracks it finds.

This is the greatest mistake that people do when they meet love…they try to posses it, they demand, they expect… and just like the water spilling out of your hand, love will retrieve from you .

For love is meant to be free, you cannot change its nature. If there are people you love, allow them to be free beings.

“Give and don’t expect.
Advise, but don’t order.
Ask, but never demand.”

It might sound simple, but it is a lesson that may take a lifetime to truly practice. It is the secret to true love. To truly practice it, you must sincerely feel no expectations from those who you love, and yet an unconditional caring.”

Passing thought… Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take; but by the moments that take our breath away…..

Life is beautiful!!! Live it !!!

If Love is Blind

Here is another touching story from my collection of old chain mail

The passengers on the bus watched sympathetically as the attractive
young woman with the white cane made her way carefully up the
steps. She paid the driver and, using her hands to feel the
location of the seats, walked down the aisle and found the seat
he’d told her was empty. Then she’s settled in, placed her
briefcase on her lap and rested her cane against her leg.

It had been a year since Susan became blind. Due to a medical
misdiagnosis she had been rendered sightless, and she was suddenly
thrown into a world of darkness, anger, frustration and self-pity.
‘How could this have happened to me?’ she would plead, her heart
knotted with anger. But no matter how much she cried or ranted or
prayed, she knew the painful truth, her sight was never going to
return. A cloud of depression hung over Susan’s once optimistic
spirit. All she had to cling to was her husband Mark.

Mark was an Air Force officer and he loved Susan with all his
heart. When she first lost her sight, he watched her sink into
despair and was determined to help his wife gain the strength she
needed to become independent again.

Finally, Susan felt ready to return to her job, but how would she
get there? She used to take the bus, but was now too frightened to
get around the city by herself. Mark volunteered to drive her to
work each day, even though they worked at opposite ends of the
city. At first, this comforted Susan and fulfilled Mark’s need to
protect his sightless wife who was so insecure about performing the
slightest task. Soon, however Mark realized that this arrangement
wasn’t working – it was hectic, and costly.

Susan is going to have to start taking the bus again, he admitted
to himself. But just the thought of mentioning it to her made him
cringe. She was still so fragile, so angry. How would she react?
Just as Mark predicted, Susan was horrified at the idea of taking
the bus again. “I’m blind!” she responded bitterly. “How am I
supposed to know where I’m going? I feel like you’re abandoning
me.”

Mark’s heart broke but he knew what had to be done. He promised
Susan that each day he would ride the bus with her until she got
the hang of it.

And that is exactly what happened. For two solid weeks, Mark,
military uniform and all, accompanied Susan to and from work each
day. He taught her how to rely on her other senses to determine
where she was and how to adapt to her new environment. He helped
her befriend the bus drivers who could watch out for her, and save
her a seat. Each morning they made the journey together, and Mark
would take a cab back to his office.

Although this routine was even more costly and exhausting than the
previous one, Mark knew it was only a matter of time before Susan
would be able to ride the bus on her own. Finally, Susan decided
that she was ready to try the trip on her own. Monday morning
arrived, and before she left, she threw her arms around Mark, her
temporary bus riding companion, her husband, and her best friend.
Her eyes filled with tears of gratitude for his loyalty, his
patience, his love. She said good-bye, and for the first time, they
went their separate ways. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday….
Each day on her own went perfectly, and Susan had never felt
better.

On Friday morning, Susan took the bus to work as usual. As she was
paying for her fare to exit the bus, the driver said, “Boy, I sure
envy you.” Susan wasn’t sure if the driver was speaking to her or
not. After all, who on earth would ever envy a blind woman who had
struggled just to find the courage to live for the past year? “Why
do you envy me?”

The driver responded, “It must feel so good to be taken care of and
protected like you are.” Susan had no idea what the driver was
talking about, “What do you mean?” The driver said, “You know,
every morning for the past week, a fine looking gentleman in a
military uniform has been standing across the corner watching you
when you get off the bus. He makes sure you cross the street safely
and he watches you until you enter your office building. Then he
blows you a kiss, gives you a little salute and walks away. You are
one lucky lady.”

Tears of happiness poured down Susan’s cheeks. For although she
couldn’t see him, she had always felt Mark’s presence. She was
blessed, so blessed, for he had given her a gift more powerful than
sight, a gift she didn’t need to see to believe – the gift of love
that can bring light where there had been darkness. So if you love someone be faithful to that person.

Touching Father and Son Story

SON: “Daddy, may I ask you a question?”
DAD: “Yeah sure, what is it?”
SON: “Daddy, how much do you make an hour?”
DAD: “That’s none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?”
SON: “I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?”
DAD: “If you must know, I make $100 an hour.”
SON: “Oh! (With his head down).
SON: “Daddy, may I please borrow $50?”
The father was furious.
DAD: “If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behavior.”

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy’s questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $ 50 and he really didn’t ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy’s room and opened the door.

DAD: “Are you asleep, son?”

SON: “No daddy, I’m awake”.
DAD: “I’ve been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier. It’s been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here’s the $50 you asked for.”

The little boy sat straight up, smiling.
SON: “Oh, thank you daddy!”
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

DAD: “Why do you want more money if you already have some?”

SON: “Because I didn’t have enough, but now I do.

“Daddy, I have $100 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.”
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness. It’s just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $100 worth of your time with someone you love? If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family and friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family.

Some things are more important.

This Afternoon

relationship

This afternoon was different from my usual afternoon. Something just open up made me realise how empty my life is now.

Met this young guy (I think his just 19yrs old). At first when he ask me if he can visit me I know from there it will be just another afternoon hook up which im trying to avoiding but since im darn bored I just replied that he can drop by. Well we just watch Sungkyunkwan Scandal  and 666 Park Avenue. After watching he kissed me and can I just say that he really kiss well compare to guys that i dated before. after the kiss I asked him if his in a relationship and he answer honestly that he is in a relationship. So before anything happen to us i stop it from there because i dont want to be the cause of their  break up. So we just hug, kiss and sleep.

Then i found my self think and missing this mushy bumming around all afternoon. I just missed being with someone na hindi man kayo naguusap alam mo nandyan sya sa tabi mo at kompleto araw mo. I missed yung nakatingin lang kayo sa kesame magkahawak ang kamay pero parang ang layo na ng nadadating nyo at adami nyo na napaguusapan. I missed ung may natutulog sa braso mo, ung my yumayakap sayo at may kayakap ka and for every movement na magigising sya or ikaw hahalikan mo sya gising man or tulog. I just missed it.
