This new campaign of Nokia is really hilarious and very straight forward. Talk about name dropping over competitors products.

This is not a campaign post for Tingting Cojuangco but as a fan of Mikee Cojuangco I must say that she is still pretty.

Wow JOLLIBEE featured on CNN’s Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown. The Jollibee branch is along Beverly Blvd (near Vermont Ave), Los Angeles, California. Filipinos and filipino by heart must be proud of this since we all grew up loving Jollibee.

Sabi nila meron daw 3 prinsipyo ito ung Kurot, Dakot at Utang na principle.

Kurot Principle, Ito ung tipong gusto mo bumili ng bagong Sapatos na tag 5000 tapos meron kang saving na 500000 sa banko. pag bumili ka ng sapatos gamit ang iyong savings parang kurot lang ang mangyayari sa saving mo at meron ka pa matitira kung sakaling kinakailangan mo ulit.

Dukot Principle, ang pinag kaibahan naman nito sa Kurot eh tipong ubos ubos biyaya. gusto mo bumili ng sapatos na 5000 pero ang laman ng savings mo ay 5000 lang din at binili mo yung sapatos wala na matitira sayo. Masaya ka dahil my bago kang sapatos pero wala naman natira sayo

and the last principle is Utang Principle. ito ung tipong wala ka nang saving pero gustong gusto mo bilhin ung sapatos na 5000 so ang gagawin mo ay uutang ka sa friends mo para lang mabili ang luho mo.

Ikaw ano ba mas gusto mo? Me? Im planning this year to save money as much as I can kaya Kurot principle ang gagamitin ko ung tipong my gusto akong isang bagay at hindi ko kaya ng pero ko bumili ng sampung ganun hindi ko iyon bibilhin sa ganun mapipigilan ko sarili ko magover spend this year.

One of the main requirement in philippines is NBI clearance may it be for job, getting passport ETC. Knowing how tedious it is to get NBI Clearance, you need to line up for several hours fill up some forms and so on. NBI came up with NBI Online Clearance Application. Sounds convenient right? think again…. For online application you need to pay thru Gcash or Pinoy Pera Padala. Since I’m a globe user I used Gcash in paying, after a sec or two I received my reference no. then I log on to NBI to setup my account and schedule. but for some reason I received this error “Please make sure you have not mistyped your reference number and payment date/birthdate.” I did double check everything and everything is correct.

I called the Gcash hotline to report they even verify my reference number, and indeed it was correct so they promise to resolve the issue within 24hrs. Error happened last Sunday and reported after and now its Tuesday and still not yet resolve how inconvenient it is to transact with Gcash. I do made followup call thru gcash hotline several times but all they answer was no reply from concern department and I will just followup.

what pissed me off is the agent told me upfront that there was no reply from the concern department and she will just email and followup again! for crying out loud! 3 days was already passed by and no reply? if they are waiting for the email it will take years. They have the means to call since they have the information of the that department. I previously  worked in a call center and urgent matters that need to escalate we have direct no. to expedite the process. So I suggested to the girl to call the department ASAP and she reply that they don’t have means to call them! Inday call center ka nagtratrabaho madaming telephone dyan na pwede gamitin ung sa supervisor or managers phone actually have access to outside call.

So I decided to cancel the transaction and request for a refund since they cannot solve the problem and they just replied “ay sorry we cannot guarantee na ma refund?”  Honestley Gcash is not convenient at all. and even agents in gcash hotline was not helpful at all.

After 8yrs they are back in Manila and yes I chose Jars of Clay over the Script concert and no regrets aboout it since they played most of my fave song execpt for one “Unforgetful You”

Concert started around 8:30PM against 6:00PM scheduled start of concert as published over the web and some posters. Opening for Jars of Clay were some Church Simplified Bands and  Paolo Valenciano.

The concert name was “Jars of Clay at #Walkway”. Venue was not actually in “walkway” but it was in the amphitheater of Bonifacio Hight Street, thats the one in front of Jamba Juice. “Walkway” (Walkway:Stations of the Cross) is the name of the event during holy week which was organized by Church Simplified and they been doing this for few years now, This year they invited Jars of Clay for an Easter Concert which I totally enjoy!
